Self catering in Eastbourne

The Wharf provides delightful harbourside accommodation for those looking for self catering in Eastbourne. It is located in a prestigious, gated Sovereign Harbour development, benefitting from a fantastic waterfront location and the added bonus of a private balcony.

This stylish apartment is set on the second floor and boasts two spacious bedrooms, both of which have built in wardrobes (so need to skimp on the packing!). The master has a kingsize bed and an immaculate ensuite shower room and the second bedroom has a double bed. There is an additional family bathroom off the hallway.

The living area is open-plan, with a sofa, two armchairs and a TV with access to Freeview channels to unwind after a busy day exploring. French doors lead out onto the balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee whilst taking in the wonderful views.

In the kitchen you will find all of the pots, pans and equipment you could need, as well as all of the usual appliances including a gas hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and a filter-style coffee machine. There is a dining table that seats up to four people.

If you are in the area for work, there is a handy study just off the hallway so you can catch up on some emails, and a cupboard in this room houses a tumble dryer, cleaning tools and a couple of folding chairs that can be used on the balcony.

There is free, roadside parking available as well as some visitor bays outside the building. There is lift access up to the flat if you don't wish to take the stairs.

Linen and regular towels are provided (please bring your own beach towels), with an extra set supplied for stays of two weeks or longer. WiFi is provided free of charge.

The beach is only a couple of minutes' walk from your door, with the bustling Waterfront area equally close by with its selection of restaurants and cafes, as well as the retail park with a range of stores including Asda, Boots, Next and TK Maxx.

Central Eastbourne is within easy reach either by car, bus or on foot if you fancy the hour long stroll along the promenade. Don't forget a trip to the South Downs National Park is an absolute must for anyone visiting the area, with its miles of rolling hills and dramatic clifftop walks!

Minimum age of lead guest 25+. Smoking, parties & pets are not permitted in this property.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
