Sussex Holiday Lets in Sovereign Harbour

On the ground floor, the hallway leads through to the open-plan kitchen with patio doors opening up onto the garden terrace. The kitchen is fully kitted out with an oven, hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher and a selection of pots, pans and utensils. Leading off of the kitchen is a lovely dining area with a table seating up to six.

Head up onto the first floor, where you'll find the lounge with two comfortable sofas in front of the Smart TV. There is the added bonus of a balcony with a small table and chairs to take in the views.

This holiday home has been renovated throughout so it feels bright and fresh, with stacks of natural light flooding from the sparkling marina through patio and balcony doors into the three separate floors.

Up to six guests can stay, in three bedrooms over the first and second floors.   On the top floor is the master bedroom  with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, plus a double bedroom with harbour views.  The first floor has a further double bedroom and all are tastefully presented for a calming feel.  As well as the ensuite shower room, there is a family bathroom on the top floor with a bath and shower over, plus a downstairs toilet.

 

Children of all ages are welcome, and small-to-medium size, adult, neutered dogs are considered – please contact us to discuss your pet before booking (£50 supplement applies per dog).

The Waterfront is just a few minutes stroll along the marina, with tempting cafes and restaurants, plus a large Asda on the retail area just beyond that, alongside Next, Sports Direct and others.

The harbour and the wonderful views are likely to make it difficult to leave the holiday house, but historic sites such as Pevensey Castle and Battle (think King Harold, William and arrows that changed course of England) are just up the road.

Bexhill-on-Sea with the de La Warr Pavillion and buzzing St Leonards and Hastings make for tempting days out or Brighton offers a very different excursion in the opposite direction.

Eastbourne is an easy, if hour-long walk along the promenade, with ice cream stops and cafes along the way, leading to the iconic Eastbourne Pier, the Congress and Devonshire Park Theatres and Beacon Centre for cinemas and a more bustling feel.

Don’t miss out on the South Downs National Park when you visit – think clifftop walks along the Seven Sisters, spectacular views from Beachy Head and the National Trust cafe at Birling Gap for refreshments (go on, revel in that sausage roll and hot chocolate treat – you’re on holiday!)

Eastbourne provides direct rail links to London, Gatwick Airport, Ashford International as well as Brighton, so a car isn’t essential, but it will make life easier to get around.

This holiday home has driveway parking for two cars with other free parking on the road directly outside.  All linen and towels are provided, with additional supplies for stays of two weeks or more. Free WiFi is provided, of course, as with all our Sovereign Harbour holiday homes.

Privately positioned in the heart of the harbour, a spacious, well equipped townhouse.
Absolutely loved our stay at Palm Trees. It had lovely views onto the water from the Dining area, Lounge and one of the double bedrooms. The kitchen was a beautiful colour and very well equipped with excellent white goods. The bedrooms were all doubles. We loved the views from the lounge balcony and the garden was charming with ample seating. So convenient for the cafes and supermarket being just a short walk away. This is our 4th stay at Sovereign Bay and the best property so far.

Lovely waterfront town house. Looked recently renovated and was very clean and comfortable with all appliances working well and a fully equipped kitchen. Great location in Sovereign Harbour within easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and shops as well as the Coastal Path for longer beachside walks. As to be expected in a townhouse, there are lots of stairs but they’ll keep you fit!

Smoking is not permitted in this property. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

A small-to-medium sized dog will be considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a £50 supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the property.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
