Captain's View provides spacious accommodation in Eastbourne that is ideal for families, friends or colleagues sharing.
With lovely views overlooking the Sovereign Harbour, it makes the perfect base for those working from home or exploring the delights of the south coast including the South Downs National Park, historic sites such as Pevensey Castle. Central Eastbourne is an easy 10 minute drive along the seafront, or why not take the hour long stroll instead to take in the sights along the way including the iconic Victorian Pier.
Set across three floors, this property can sleep up to six guests across three bedrooms. On the top floor, you'll find the master bedroom which has a kingsize bed, built-in wardrobes, Smart TV and an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom has a 'zip and link' bed that can be set up either as a superking or split into a twin if you would prefer. There is also an immaculate family bathroom on this floor with a bath and shower over.
On the middle floor there is a further bedroom which can also be set up as a kingsize or a twin - please let us know when booking what would work best for you. The lounge is bathed in natural light and has French doors leading out onto your private balcony with table and chairs to watch the boats bobbing by. There are two comfortable sofas and a Smart TV to indulge in a few Netflix series (don't forget your log ins!).
The kitchen-diner is on the ground floor and is fully kitted out with an oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. There are doors leading onto the terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs - perfect for a spot of al fresco dining. There is also a handy WC.
WiFi is included along with all linen and towels (please bring your own beach towels) and there is parking for one car on the driveway with additional roadside parking available. A small, well-behaved adult dog who has been spayed/neutered may also be considered (£50 supplement applies, contact us to discuss).

Lovely house, really clean and in great location
Would highly recommend.
The house was in a peaceful area. Excellent location. Beds were really comfortable. Everything about the property was good. I needed to message the staff at Exclusively Eastbourne 2 or 3 times about things they responded quickly & sorted the issues out.
There was not anything to dislike. A lovely modern property. Very clean and comfortable.
Smoking is not permitted in this property. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.
There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.
Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.
The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.
The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.
Dogs are considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a £50 supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the property.
The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
