Sovereign Harbour Holiday Lets in Eastbourne

Sovereign Harbour holiday lets should provide the perfect base to relax and enjoy marina life, and Lock and Quay does just that! With a private terrace and unbeatable views over the harbour, the hustle and bustle of normal life will feel a million miles away.

There are two spacious bedrooms comfortably sleeping up to four guests, with a king-size bed in the master and a double bed in the second bedroom. The master bedroom also has an ensuite shower room (with a small step to get into the shower), then there is an additional separate family bathroom with a bath.

The lounge is bathed in natural light and is ideal for putting your feet up after long, invigorating walks along the beach, with a sumptuous sofa, two armchairs and a Smart TV. Leading off of the lounge is the private terrace with outdoor table and chairs where you can sit and take in the mesmerising views and watch the boats coming and going through the marina.

The kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catered stay, with an oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, washer-dryer, Nespresso coffee machine and all of the usual pots, pans and utensils. Once you've cooked up a storm, you can enjoy your meal at the dining table which seats up to four.

As with all of our Sovereign Harbour holiday lets, free WiFi and linen/towels are provided (except beach towels, so please bring your own). There is also the added bonus of an allocated space in the secure, gated car park (plus additional roadside parking outside if you have more than one car).

There is lift access from the car park up to the apartment floor and you can easily reach the marina front by heading down a few steps from the communal front door.

There are a selection of great places to eat around The Waterfront area, including a choice of Thai, Indian or Italian cuisines plus a couple of tempting coffee shops. The nearby retail park is only a five minute walk from your doorstep and has an Asda to top up on the essentials during your stay, as well as a B&M, Boots, Next and more.

Central Eastbourne is within easy reach, too - just 10 minutes by car, or why not take the hour long stroll along the seafront to take in the fresh sea air (perhaps with a stop off at The Beach Deck en-route to refuel!). The town centre has an abundance of shops to while away a few hours, from the independent boutiques in the Little Chelsea area to the big high street names in The Beacon.

Head in the opposite direction and you'll find yourself in the tranquil village of Pevensey Bay, rich in history with its Norman Castle and 1066 Walk through 31 miles of breathtaking countryside.

Eastbourne also has regular, direct train links to many areas in the South East, including Lewes, Brighton, Bexhill, Hastings, Gatwick Airport and London Victoria.

Minimum age of lead guest 25+. Smoking, parties & pets are not permitted in this property.

There is a week-long minimum stay in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
