Great Apartment in a perfect location.
Spacious flat with a wonderful conservatory and great patio in a quiet location. It is only a few minutes' walk to the promenade or the South Downs Trails. Shopping is available on Meads Road (Tesco, bakery, pharmacy...) just around the corner. Buses 3 and 4 to the city centre also stop there.
The handling of the booking through the agency was uncomplicated and the further communication was great, friendly, quick and very customer-oriented.
In summary, I had a really good time and enjoyed my stay.
We had a wonderful stay in the apartment (it is so spacious, bigger than my house!) Superb location, clean, homely, comfortable and all the items you need in the kitchen! I adored the beautiful conservatory for morning coffee with my book and the lovely garden. The 2 front rooms (living room and main bedroom) are so big but still very cosy which I loved. The shower is one of the best showers I have used and kitchen was lovely! The second toilet was an added bonus too! I would love to stay here again - you couldn't get a more perfect location or property, in my opinion. Thank you!
Perfect luxury.
I have recently returned from a week's stay at this gorgeous apartment and would not hesitate to recommend it.
The Exclusively Eastbourne team were efficient, friendly and helpful before, during and after our stay, with prompt correspondence throughout.
There were a few necessities available upon arrival, such as loo roll, washing up liquid, soap, etc., so no need to go shopping immediately; however, there is a handy Tesco Express two streets away.
The property was scrupulously clean upon our arrival and was light and airy everywhere, too.
The beds were super comfy and there were all the accessories needed for a perfect stay.
We had taken several coat hangers with us, as there always seems to be a shortage in rental properties. However, we need not have bothered, as there are, at least, forty five provided!
One word of caution is to take care when going out, as it is really easy to pick up the wrong set of keys from the three bunches - they all look similar.
We locked ourselves out on our last evening but the situation was soon remedied by Sarah at Exclusively Eastbourne. Phew! The Ship Inn is a lovely, local pub, serving delicious meals at reasonable prices. Best to book at the weekend. This can be accessed directly from Shipside's pretty courtyard, almost directly into The Ship's beer garden. This is not a rowdy pub though and in no way spoils the tranquility of the holiday let.
Buses can be boarded about five minutes walk away, outside the Tesco Express, directly into Eastbourne.
The beach can also be accessed, a similar distance from the property, either via a set of steps or, for the less mobile, down a gentle slope.
Shipside sits in a quiet location, at the foot of the South Downs. Prior to our arrival at Shipside,
I had arranged, via Exclusively Eastbourne, to purchase a week's parking permit (£14). This proved invaluable and we were able to park each day, without a problem, on Derwent Road - usually directly outside the house.
A wonderful, classy apartment, in a beautiful, picturesque village.
We shall definitely return.
Perfect location to explore Sussex. Right next to Beachy head and just a 5 minute walk from the coast.
The flat was clean and provided everything you could wish for.
We were a group of 4 and we’ve had enough space for all of us.
Excellent communication and easy and contactless check in.
Thank you!
We enjoyed a lovely week stay in this modern and bright apartment. Everything was very clean, with all we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment was very spacious. It was just my partner and I but would comfortably suit a family too. Pubs and restaurants close by with a short walk to the sea too. Would definitely stay again! A lovely extra of a real Christmas tree in the living area.
Beautiful and well serviced apartment.
We stayed in your apartment for two weeks and really enjoyed it!
Exceptional!
This spacious, ground-floor apartment is in a quiet street very close to Meads village with its cafe, 2 small supermarkets, 2 great pubs and buses into town. It is furnished and fitted and cleaned to a high standard and we wanted for nothing. The rooms are bright, the beds are really comfortable and the garden is a quiet haven. The agents were extremely helpful and efficient. We really could not have asked for more and we highly recommend this home from home in Meads
Beautiful property with plenty of space, rooms great size, lovely conservatory dining room and courtyard. Stunning decor made us feel right at home, fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook dinners for my family who live in Eastbourne during our stay which made our trip home from Australia even more special and gave us the quality time we needed. The meads is a lovely location with a small village feel. It’s about a 20 min walk into town but there’s shops, pubs and restaurants in the Meads.
Loved the stay
