Eastbourne holiday rentals

Promenade View is one of three delightful Eastbourne holiday rentals situated in Sea House (where Charles Darwin wrote part of Origin of Species), with unbeatable views across the beach and Pier.

This contemporary apartment is on the ground floor and has an allocated parking space to the rear of the property, making it an ideal choice for those needing accessible accommodation. Pier View is situated directly above on the first floor, with Horizon View on the top/second floor - each sleep up to four people, meaning that larger groups who need a little more space can book the whole building for up to 12 people.

There are two bedrooms - one with a kingsize bed and two singles in the other. Both bedrooms also have the added bonus of a Smart TV.

In the open plan kitchen / living area, you'll find a comfortable L-shaped sofa to relax on after a day of exploring, plus a Smart TV to catch up on the latest series (so don't forget your log in details). The kitchen is well equipped for self-catered stays with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and coffee machine, plus all the usual pots, pans and utensils.

The bathroom has a bath with shower over.

This apartment will also consider a small dog (supplement applies, contact us to discuss), so your four legged friends needn't miss out.

As with all of our Eastbourne holiday rentals, free WiFi is included as well as linen and regular towels (please bring your own beach towels).

Seconds from your doorstep is Eastbourne's glorious promenade, with miles of clean, pebble beaches and some of the town's most unmissable sights including the Pier, Bandstand and Carpet Gardens. At the eastern side of the seafront is the bustling Sovereign Harbour development, with a great selection of waterside resaturants and cafes, with Holywell and the leafy Meads district situated at the western end.

The town centre is also within easy reach, where you'll find the Beacon Centre with all of the high street stores you could wish for and the a great variety of independent businesses in the Little Chelsea area. The Devonshire Quarter which is the heart of Eastbourne's cultural scene, comprising of four theatres including the Congress and Devonshire Park, as well as the Towner Gallery (which played host to the Turner Prize in 2023).

For those using public transport to get around, the apartment is on a bus route with regular services to the likes of Bexhill, Hastings and Brighton. The train station is also less than a mile away with direct trains to Lewes, Gatwick Airport, Brighton, London Victoria and more.

Smoking is not permitted in this property. Minimum age of lead guest 25+.

There is a week-long minimum stay and bookings run from Saturday to Saturday in peak season, although flexible arrival days may be possible out of season.

Costs include the weekly rent, a £30 booking fee and a returnable £200 security deposit. To book requires an immediate, non-refundable deposit of £200 per week booked (booking fee and a portion of the rent) and then the balance, including the security deposit, is due by no later than six weeks before your arrival. For stays of three weeks or more, you may be asked to pay a higher security deposit.

The checkout time is 10am on the morning of departure – a fine may be applied if you do not leave on time. Please leave the property in good order – dispose of rubbish in external bins and wash up any pots/dishes or load into the dishwasher and switch on before you depart. If the accommodation is left in an unreasonably messy or dirty state, requiring deep cleaning, the cost for this will be deducted from your security deposit.

The security deposit will be returned to you within 1-2 weeks of your departure, minus any deduction for damage, loss or excessive cleaning required.

A small dog will be considered on a selective basis and, if approved, a £50 supplement will apply. Please contact Exclusively Eastbourne to discuss your pet if you wish to bring them. Any pet given permission to come must not be allowed on the beds or furniture or left in the property alone. They must only use a pet bed and pet bowls that you bring with you. You will be expected to clean up after your pet and are liable for any damage it causes. Please bring a separate towel for your dog to wipe muddy / sandy paws before entering the property.

The property can only be used for the maximum number shown on the booking correspondence. It must not be used for improper, illegal or immoral purposes. Guests must not sub-let the property and must not change, add, move or remove any items of furniture, furnishings or structures inside or outside. Guests must not cause (nor allow any visitors to cause) any nuisance, annoyance or disturbance to neighbours, the property owner or the property owner’s agent.
